Hostal Guerra - Madrid

Staying at Hostal Guerra was a feast for the senses! The location made it easy to stumble upon local gems including Museo del Jamon for the best jamón ibérico and Taberna Alhambra, just a hop away for some tasty tapas. Plus, the staff were as cute as the aroma of freshly made churros wafting from La Mallorquina.

Sure, the curtain was hanging off the rail and I could've used a firmer pillow, but honestly, the culinary adventures outweighed those tiny hiccups in comfort.

Bright and quiet room with an own bathroom. Great amenities like central heating and a multi-channel television. Central location, just a pleasant stroll away from a famed street.

The room felt cramped and hot even with the air conditioning functioning well. Slippery floors made moving about a hassle, and the beds were small. The fitted sheets didn't stay put, curling up as you tried to get comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was weak, taking ages to warm up, and the thin walls let in noise from other guests, especially late at night. There was a persistent unpleasant smell coming from the drains that needed addressing.

Experience was really nice.

Everything was simply perfect. The property was clean with courteous staff. The hotel had a marvellous and magnificent location just close to Bellas Artes Theatre.

We enjoyed rooms with en-suite bathroom a stone's throw away from sol...

The really good location makes it easy to explore nearby attractions and local eateries, while the comfortable, well-maintained rooms provide a cozy retreat after a long day. The short beds may not be ideal for tall guests, and some noise from the bustling streets can disrupt a restful night. Air conditioning worked perfectly during the hot summer days.

Can just recommend for a lightning trip

Excellent location, friendly hosts, providing easy access to nearby Metro and many places to eat, made my solo trip enjoyable and convenient.

Everything was spot-on.

the room was kind of tight for three people (definitely pack light! ). the location is unbeatable, just minutes from sol metro station. the staff was really friendly and helped with all my questions! room had basic amenities and was very clean.

Just an excellent fit for a city break in Madrid with excellent value for money. The location made it easy to explore local cafes, especially enjoying breakfast at a nearby bakery where the pastries were fresh and delicious. Bring earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep!

I found Hostal Guerra perfect location for exploring Madrid, just steps from the Sol metro. The staff were helpful. I appreciated the 24-hour reception and the cleanliness of the facilities.
